Not only the expectations of the producers are surpassed: The premiere broadcast of the JAGDCLUB.TV with host Flo Rudig jumps from zero to thousands of viewers.
It was very exciting, and not only in terms of the content. Each viewer had the option up or down vote each panelist every 90 seconds, with an actual chance to kick them off the broadcast. The server that was supposed to handle this voting went down when the viewers hit 4.1 million accesses. This is a new idea for interactive live TV broadcasts over the internet by ROODIXX, where the spectators can mute the Studio guests or even vote them off the show. It is paired with a higher goal, as Florian Rudig describes: “We discuss cutting-edge, controversial, and also political themes in a new and fresh way: Out with the hot air and empty phrases, in with moral decency and honesty!” Live TV confrontations of all 11 Parties from the Tyrolean Landtag election is another raving success: More than 20,000 spectators, 26,000 votes, and a dazzling media response. This is the largest TV discussion on the Tyrolean Landtag election. The two-hour live show (April 22nd, 2013) is also accompanied by a live band and hunting horn blowers. This interactive TV format is hosted and produced by ROODIXX frontman Flo Rudig: “This show was enormous. Not only was a politician actually voted off the show (Hans-Peter Mayr from team Stronach), we put the candidate of the Austrian peoples party up for continuous voting during the live broadcast – the hundreds of questions and feedback show how well-received such an independent, critical, and open format actually is. We call the politicians out on their moral duty. It’s all about the political style.”
