DJ Tobi Rudig is the warm-up DJ for Robbie Williams. “It is a hot and cold sensation at the same time…it is incredibly casual,” Tobi Rudig enthused immediately after his appearance at the largest European stop of the Robbie Williams tour 2013. The ROODIXX frontman has just played his set in cooperation with hitradio Ö3 in front of 65,000 people to attune them to the appearance of Robbie Williams. “I think,” the DJ from Tyrol grins, “I would even do that for free :-).” The stadium in the Krieau of Vienna has already been sold out for weeks in advance, with Robbie Williams on tour for the first time since 2006. And he keeps his promise promoted by the press with a two-hour show: a spectacle of a special kind. Hundreds of helpers transform the stage into a giant LED wall, mobile Robbie statues, fireworks, and orchestral sound included. Tobi Rudig himself is back by the Williams team: “These are truly breathtaking dimensions. A private stage lift, dozens of forklifts, even a personal laundry service – it is also a logistic event.” For ROODIXX, the Robbie Williams concert is another highlight in this hot summer: main stage Danube Island Festival, Airpower, European Beach Volleyball Championship.
