YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES

Innsbruck is going Olympic for the 3rd time in January 2012. Flo Rudig coaches athletes and event ambassadors in dealing with the media. After 1964 and 1976, Innsbruck is organizer of the Olympic Games for the third time. From January 13th to 22nd, 2012 the Youth Olympic Games are held here, the first Youth Winter Olympics. To this end, the ambassadors (Young Ambassadors) from all participating countries of the world come together in advance and experience an impressive cultural and educational program.

Flo Rudig, a learned media trainer, provides support in media handling for the Olympic ambassadors: “The boys and girls get the most important tools to perform before the TV cameras and microphones of this world – behavior in an interview, placing the personal message, tips and tricks in dealing with journalists.”

The workshops take a few hours each and include a large practical part, in which the students must assert themselves in front of the camera. Flo Rudig: “The tension among the students is of course great. But it is the only way to get the best out of a dicey live situation.”

Furthermore, he will coach the athletes in similar seminars during the Youth Olympic Games: “The YOG – fitness for body and mind; you can only win as a participant.”
